about

Commissioned through Vogster Entertainment in early 2010, The "Unbound Saga: Official Game Soundtrack" was scored originally for a breakthrough PSP video game of the same name, featuring a classic brawler side-scrolling style akin to old school Ninja Turtles and X-Men arcade games. The instrumental tracks were built from the body parts of recent tandem albums "Psycho the Rapist" and "Humanoids from the Deep" in the Cracknation Studios and credited to both Acumen Nation and DJ? Acucrack for the finished product's amalgamation of both bands. While not exactly remix companions to those albums, you can hear the incestuous bits and pieces cannibalized from those albums throughout the soundtrack.

The game didn't break through as successfully as hoped, but it was a fantastic, creative time for Jason Novak, who wrote and produced the score, and Dan Brill, who created all the live drums and percussion used throughout. Vogster Entertainment allowed Cracknation to release the official soundtrack as part of the label catalog in 2010. Special Thanks to Mike Kennedy (Neurobellum, Magnetic Press) for making it happen!
